CONSTRUCTION OF PRESS BAND
A Press-on tire is made of rubber bonded to a mild steel band, which is pressed
as interference fit onto a wheel. The steel band is a mild steel strip, which is
rolled, welded and expanded in-house by Watts wheel division. Adhesion between
the steel band and the rubber is achieved by applying two specially formulated
bonding agents after the metal has been degreased and shot blasted.

NON-MARKING -
Doesn't leave black tire marks in any
surface. OIL RESISTANT - Best
resistance to petrochemicals, animal fats
and other non-chlorinated fluids. FIBERGLASS
- Resists cuts and cut growth. Provides good
stability and good rolling. SPECIAL ORDER -
Various compounds are available upon

protects the disc, bearing and brake
systems from damage. It is more
